I have been a patient of Dr. Gelfman for a few years. At least I though I was. My pharmacy called to refill my Rx. They were told I was no longer a patient. I called the office, and find out he has transitioned to a concierge service practice for $1800/year fee. No phone call, no letter, no notice.
I suddenly don't have a physician. I also can't get my Rx filled. He will only write me a 30 day Rx "as a favor". My insurance requires a 90 supply or they don't cover. I asked again for 90 days and was rudely told no by his PA. Good luck to those who followed him to his new practice. You'll need it.
