As a 53 year old woman I was recently advised (again) by my primary care physician to get a colonoscopy. She had suggested this test each year for the past three years as part of my annual physical and I had put it off. I finally heeded her warnings and was referred to Dr. David Kossoff. Dr. Kossoff and his entire staff were professional, polite and put me at complete ease. They provide exceptional care before, during and after the procedure. I know most people are hesitant to get this test and the very thought of this process can make some uncomfortable - however with Dr. Kossoff your concerns are unwarranted. This test is essential to screen for colorectal cancer. Colorectal cancer is the third leading cause of cancer deaths in the US. Do not put your health at risk by putting this test off - I encourage you to contact Dr. Kossoff and entrust your health to his excellent care.

While I think that this is a good doctor, I was very disappointed in his judgement about how he conducts his office environment. He happens to have strong political views that are conservative, which he demonstrates by running a flat screen TV in the waiting room that is playing ONLY Fox News, during all of his office hours, including evening. No one is allowed to change the channel or mute the sound. When asked, his rationale is that he is opposed to Obamacare. I was quite uncomfortable with the negative tone, and when I mentioned that, the staff's attitude seemed to go quite cold. They were less friendly than usual. It was weird to be subjected to this in an otherwise professional setting and it diminishes his professionalism.
