Dr. Mansfield Smith gave me back my hearing years ago! I love him!
I saw two other specialist who were good, but did not offer any solutions. They hesitated to operate on my left ear, since I had a previous unsuccessful operation on my right ear. They didn't want to put a prothesis in both ears. I was young and had little children. I couldn't hear without using hearing aids. I kept pushing for a solution and was finally given Dr. Smith's name. I contacted him and he performed laser ear surgery on my left ear. The surgery gave me about 90% hearing back in that ear. The ear he operated on compensates for the other ear, so I don't need hearing aids anymore. I donated them to someone else.
He is a genius. I will always be grateful for my restored hearing.
