Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. Everyone in my community knows that they are the absolute best in the field.

My experience in Dr. Howard Bacon's office was different from the 1st review. The staff was friendly, but does not know my name after I have been to the office for 5 times in less than a month. 1) The first visit was an eye exam for my daughter with Dr Bacon or should I say the intern did all the examination and Dr Bacon came in at the end and told us to enroll in his eye study program. Frame selection was a nightmare that my daughter and I are still living with. I was concern that none of the frames appear to fit well on my daughter's face. The opticians recommended frames with a nose piece and stated they can adjust all frames to fix everyone. 2) The 2nd visit was picking up the glasses and getting them fitted. Fitting was a joke because we went back to the office the next week. 3) The 3rd visit was to refit the glasses on my daughter's face since it was failing off and causing pain at the back of her ears. Falling off would not be a big issue if the lenses were mono-focal. Dr. Bacon prescribed bi-focal lenses so it is important the glass does not fall off. The opticians or girls in the office adjust the frame by bending it back and forth. In less than 48hrs, one of the two screws fell off. 4) That send us back to the office the 4th time. The screw was put back and immediately fell out later that night. I hold myself responsible for not checking and demanding better service on the last visit. 5) I am heading back to the office today. *** Overall, eye exam is OK but the service in getting glasses is a nightmare. Recommendation to everyone is to double and triple check the services after the exam. A hospital analogy would be good doctor but inexperienced nurse to keep a patient alive.
