I have never been so pleased with any doctor as I was with Dr. A.J. Mayo. He took a thourough medical history. He applied his knowledge to advise me about any issues that my eyes might have related to my whole body and its' problems. He actually LISTENED to the problems that I had with my glasses in the past, and he made specific corrections to fix the things I didn't like about my old glasses. Specifically, my old bifocals from a prior facility had a very small area of view that was in focus. I was told that I had no choice about this from the old supplier. Dr. Mayo fixed this by using a different type of lens. He listened to my needs in the workplace, and he specifically used the distance to my computer screen in his plan for a trifocal part to my new lenses.
His staff were VERY patient with me as I chose frames. The frame selection was the most extensive I've ever had to chose from. The prices were great.
I got two pair, one bifocal sunglasses and one trifocal designer glasses for less than I paid for one pair of useless bifocals that I got 3-4 years ago from a well known facility in Lexington.
I don't care where I may live in the future, I will make a trek back to Morehead, KY once a year for my eye exams with Dr. Mayo. I am old enough to know a diamond when I've found one.

I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the BEST I've ever seen.
