I found Dr. Moreno to be a very caring and qualified physician. I have seen him for over a year and I have watched my body go from being completely torn down and close to a heart attack to my blood pressure being in control, weight being lost, my system rejuvenated and only one med left out of more than 5 I was taking over the past 8 years prescribed by some of the "top" doctors in the field treating me and misdiagnosing me. For the woman with the fibroid - I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience. It sounds like a communication error, which I have found can be a huge roadblock when obtaining medical care and follow-up. I ask tons of questions and even then I misunderstand or miscommunicate what I am asking. I would highly recommend Dr. Moreno. I know of at least 8 patients of his that are see stellar results because of his care and attention to their conditions.

I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. They would not leave me alone, and kept suggesting that I buy products that I felt were completely unnecessary. Quacks

I thought, in my innocent reading of Andrew Weil as a houseguest of an old friend, that osteopathy was better than chiropractic because it seemed to cover more of the body, and that is why I began to see osteopaths. However, during the three years that I was Dr. Moreno's patient, I developed a uterine fibroid (benign and asymptomatic) the size of a grapefruit, and he never noticed. Now I have to get rid of the stupid thing. You would think that osteopathy, since it advertises itself as preventive medicine, would have prevented this from happening. Also, when I told him about it, he seemed to expect that I was also seeing an M.D. at the same time, who would have noticed this thing. I don't know why I would have done that, because the osteopaths say that they are better than M.D.'s anyway. I think that some responsibility was shifted here. And he never told me he expected me to see an M.D. concurrently with my seeing him, the osteopath. And besides, why would I want to spend all that money on two regular doctors simultaneously? My point here is that osteopathy is not all it's cracked up to be. And then, to top it all, he asked me if I wanted to have it surgically removed. For heaven's sake, of course I don't. He is straddling the fence in an interesting way here. I don't know if he was offering to remove it himself or not, because I didn't ask. So my point here is basically, let the buyer beware. Osteopathy's fine, but it doesn't do everything. And he seemed to assume that I was off somewhere getting lower abdominal palpations, but I certainly never told him that I was, and in fact, I wasn't. I hate M.D.'s, and I don't put myself through those visits. So I'm a little surprised that Dr. Moreno had no sense of this, because most of his patients probably fit into that same category with me. Now, if I had the knowledge then that I have now, I would probably have gone to an acupuncturist, and they have some success in curing very small uterine myomas, case closed, it all would have been done. But I did not know this then. My point is simply, if you see any doctor at all, to keep in control of it, because you might be surprised at the things which are ignored or forgotten. I do not intend to damage anyone's reputation here, as mentioned below in the paragraph which threatens me with possible litigation. I thought the purpose of this site was to describe things as you find them, and this is what I found. Thank you.
