Gregory D. Rushing, MD, is Co-Director of the Valve and Structural Heart Disease Center at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute and Director of Cardiac Surgery at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center. Dr. Rushing’s clinical and research practice is focused on aortic valve, aorta and cardiac arrhythmia disease. A skilled surgeon in transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), he also collaborates with vascular and cardiac surgeons to provide open and percutaneous treatment to patients with complex aortic root and arch disease. Additionally, Dr. Rushing performs minimally invasive atrial fibrillation ablation and minimally invasive left atrial appendage closure for optimal outcomes without open-heart surgery.
